Immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst with strong commercial acumen across financial markets.

Working as part of a greenfield Data Management, Governance and Warehouse initiative you'll play a lead role in the analysis of large data sets and how best to drive value through these.

Responsibilities will include:

• Detailed Analysis of current data usage and mapping of data lineage using metadata management tools.
• Clarifying Data requirements and making recommendations of effectively leveraging this data to drive insights and support commercial decisions.
• Business engagement when clarifying Data related analysis requirements.

In order to be considered we're looking for people who can offer the following.

• Previous experience working in a Data Analysis role in large complex financial services environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to talk on both Data and Business related topics.
• Sound understanding of Data Modelling techniques - meta models and applying structured techniques to unstructured data sources.
• Strong SQL skills.
